Most of the educational programs at the Center for Training and Lifelong Learning of the University of the Peloponnese are self-funded, that is, they are based on the payment of tuition fees.
Tuition fees per program are set at a level that, on the one hand, covers each program’s operational needs (instructor fees, administrative and technical staff fees, equipment, development of educational materials, etc.), and on the other hand, it is as accessible as possible to each program’s target groups.
Tuition fees may be paid in a lump sum or in installments, depending on the provisions of each program. Payment is made to a special bank account listed in the study guide or in the program announcement.
Special discounts may also be specified for one or more of the following categories per program:
- Unemployed
- Disabled
- Member of a large family
- Graduate of a university/technical institute (up to 3 years)
- Graduate of the University of Peloponnese
- Enrolled in another educational program of the K.E.D.I.V.M of PAPEL in the past
- Member of the university staff
- Group Registration of more than three people (the other members of the group are also mentioned by name)
- Early registration before the start of the program (the time is determined explicitly by each program separately)
- Other special or social professional categories (e.g., residents of isolated areas, Roma, immigrants-refugees, undesignated teachers) (determined by each program)
At the same time, in case of collaboration with another institution, category H may also apply to members of the collaborating institution’s staff. Especially if the collaborating institution is a HEI-TEI, the same discounts apply to its own graduates (category D), while if it is a Lifelong Learning Center, the same discounts also apply to individuals who had previously enrolled in its programs (category F).
If a candidate belongs to more than one of the categories, then they are entitled to a discount for only one category, the one they choose.
Information on the exact tuition fees and possible discounts can be found in the “Study Guides,” the Announcements, or the special websites of the educational programs of K.E.D.I.V.I.M.
