What is the structure of KE.DI.VI.M.?

The Center for Training and Lifelong Learning, as a Unit of the University, operates in the premises of the Institution, either privately owned or leased. To implement its objectives, it has the following internal administrative organization:

a) Secretariat – Administrative Support

b) E-learning and Digital Technology Support Office

If any of the above Units of the Center are not staffed, their responsibilities and functions are exercised by individual University executives, as determined by relevant Senate decisions.

The basic responsibilities and functions of each of the above Units are:

Secretariat – Administrative Support

  1. Provides support in the integration and implementation processes of the educational programs and other projects of the Center.

 2. Collaborates with the Scientific Directors on issues related to the objects and procedures of the Center.

 3. Maintains a file with the implemented programs, the certificates granted, the standard document templates, the register of instructors, etc.

 4. Is responsible for providing information regarding the activities of the Center, as well as communication with legal and natural persons, and supports its publicity and promotion actions.

 5. Assists the Council in informing and raising awareness of the University community about its participation in the center’s activities through proposals and educational programs.

 6. Collects applications, supporting documents, and all kinds of documents related to the operation of the Center.

 7. Monitors the registrations and approvals of candidates by the scientific directors of the programs or, where required, by the student selection committees.

 8. Monitors and controls the educational obligations and financial obligations of the trainees until their completion.

 9. Ensures the granting of the required certificates, after their signing by the competent bodies.

 10. Is responsible for the coordination and organization of the Center’s events, such as award ceremonies and scientific events.

 11.Collaborates with the financial services of the Foundation’s E.L.K.E. on matters of operational and financial support.

 12.Undertakes the drafting of the minutes of the Council meetings and generally assists the President in the exercise of his duties.

 13.Uses the University’s Central Protocol.

The Head and the other members of the Secretariat may either be permanent administrative executives of the University of the Peloponnese or be recruited after a Public Invitation in accordance with the procedures provided for in the E.L.K.E.

E-learning and Digital Technology Support Office

  1. It supports the existence of an electronic classroom system that can be used by all center programs.

 2. It ensures the existence and use of a platform for distance learning programs.

 3. It supports electronic services and electronic document circulation, the development and management of databases, and the Center’s Information Systems in general.

 4. It develops, supports, and maintains the website, which also functions as a portal for redirection to each program.

 5. It undertakes the technical support and management of the trainees’ user accounts, their registration in the distance learning system, the technical support of teleconferences and video lectures, the general technical support of trainers and trainees during the use of electronic distance learning systems and infrastructures, and the security of the information and communication infrastructures and the stored information.

 6. The technical support of the equipment used in the Center is also part of the responsibilities of the Office.
