For more information, those interested in attending training and education programs can refer to the “Course Programs” field of the K.E.D.I.V.M. website of the University of the Peloponnese and/or directly to the websites of the educational programs provided.
The educational programs of K.E.D.I.B.I.M. are designed according to the most modern educational methodologies of Adult Education and active learning. A significant number of programs also fully utilize the principles of distance education.
The relevant programs are examined and evaluated by the Center’s Council before their implementation. The main criterion is their educational and scientific adequacy and response to the modern needs of the labor market and society.
The educational programs are designed and implemented by PAPEL executives or associates with high scientific and educational competence.
The Training and Lifelong Learning Center organizes and provides training programs, continuing education, and lifelong learning in general, which leads to the award of non-formal education certificates, in accordance with the meaning of case 4 of article 2 of Law 3879/2010.
The structure of the certificates is specific to each type of program, in-person, distance, or blended, and bears the signatures of the President and the scientific director. In the case of programs with the scientific director being the President of the Center, the certificates are co-signed by him and the Deputy President or the Director.
Also, in special cases of short-term seminars that do not lead to the award of a training certificate, a certificate of attendance may be issued, which is signed by the scientific director of the project. According to the terms of each educational program, a certificate of attendance may also be issued in cases where someone attended but did not complete the entire program. In the case of cooperation with other bodies, the models of the certificates provided may be modified by decision of the Center Council.
The certificates awarded may be accompanied by Annexes stating the following information: a) the duration of the program in hours, b) the teaching method, c) the credit units (ECTS), d) the performance of the learner and e) the titles of the thematic or teaching units of the program. The Annexes are signed by the same persons who sign the corresponding certificates.
In addition, Lifelong Learning Programs award ECTS (European Credit Transfer System) Credit Units to learners who have successfully completed a program, considering the Ministerial Decision Φ5/89656/Β3/2007 (ΦΕΚ 1466/Β/2007) for the award of ECTS units after successful completion of study programs.
In further education, continuing vocational education, or training programs, ECVET points may also be allocated. These points reflect the learning outcomes, i.e., the knowledge, skills, and abilities that a trainee acquires from a program, in a measurable form (as opposed to ECTS, which reflects the time spent by an average student in formal education).

The educational programs are designed and implemented by PAPEL executives or associates with high scientific and educational competence.
Depending on the implementation method of each program (face-to-face/distance/mixed), corresponding methods are applied to ensure the trainees’ presence. During the implementation of face-to-face teaching, trainee attendance records are kept based on the program schedule, while in distance education programs, the implementation method is designed to ensure proper attendance by the trainees. Attendance is mandatory to be awarded the required certificate in face-to-face and distance education with modern education programs, and the absence limit cannot exceed 15% of the required training hours.

The programs provided by the K.E.D.I.V.I.M. of the University of Peloponnese are implemented using three different methods:
– In-person, either in the University’s own structures or in rented ones.
– Distance, purely using distance learning methods.
– Mixed programs with a combination of in-person and distance learning.
In cases where the trainees’ physical presence is required, the lessons can also be held on non-working days.
In distance programs, the only requirement is access to a computer with a good internet connection speed.
Most of the educational programs at the Center for Training and Lifelong Learning of the University of the Peloponnese are self-financed, that is, they are based on the payment of tuition fees.
